Cancer institute editor spends in Winsdor Terrace

Lisa Prives, Dr. Carol L. Prives, and Ryder Reynolds bought a home at 81 Reeves Place in Windsor Terrace from Dr. Fiona Gallahue for $775,000 on July 11.

The 1,605-square-foot house was built in 1899.

Dr. Prives has worked as a senior editor at the American Association for Cancer Research, Inc.

She has also been a chair of biological science, a molecular biologist and a professor of biology at the Columbia University.

She received her Ph.D. from Columbia University and McGill University.

Dr. Gallahue is an associate residency director and works as an assistant professor of Emergency Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. She is also an emergency medicine physician at New York Methodist Hospital.

Home sales in Windsor Terrace decreased 33.8 percent in 2008 versus sales in 2007. The median sales price, however, rose from $366,000 to $382,000 during the same period.
