The house, which is in the Midwood subdivision, was built in 1925.

Serle has been a trust and estates associate at the Debevoise and Plimpton law firm.

He received his J.D. from the Columbia University School of Law.

There have been 123 home sales in Midwood in 2008, with a median sales price of $425,000.
