Hedge fund company director sells for $2.265M on Fremont

Kirk Strawn and his wife, Robin Grant, sold their five-bedroom, 5.1 bath at 1811 N. Fremont St. in Lincoln Park for $2.265 million to Richard Reeuwijk and Caroline Ivers on June 19.

Strawn paid $2 million for the property in March 2004. The home was built in 2002.

Strawn is the director of intermediary sales in the Chicago office of international investment and hedge fund firm Man Investments. He joined the company in 2001 and specializes in the development and service of Man Investments' intermediary network in the central region of the U.S.

He previously served as a managing director at ING Furman Selz Capital Management. He has also worked for Lehman Brothers in New York City.

He earned his bachelor's in finance from George Washington University.
