Songwriter drops $2.55M in Griffith Park

Scott M. Cutler bought a four-bedroom, three-bath home at 4961 Cromwell Ave. in Griffith Park/Los Feliz from Pamela Ann Little and Ken Odom Little for $2.55 million on Dec. 23.

The Littles acquired the property for $1,138,500 in Nov. 2001.

Cutler is a songwriter/composer based in Los Angeles, best known for penning the hit song "Sanctuary" with Madonna and "No Man's Woman" with Sinead O'Connor. He also wrote the hit song "Torn," which was made famous by Natalie Imbruglia, and "Listen," which appeared in the Oscar-nominated film Dreamgirls.

The home was formerly owned by actor Alan Ladd.

There were 179 sales in Griffith Park/Los Feliz in 2008, with a median price of $945,000.
