Realtor sells Lower Manhattan condo for $1.08M

Jacques Foussard sold a condo at 15 Broad St. in Lower Manhattan to Aliante Reny, Inc. for $1.08 million on July 14.

Foussard bought Unit #1230 for $580,000 in Nov. 2006. The 1,418-square-foot condo is in the Downtown by Philippe Starck, a condo apartment development directly across Wall Street from the Federal Hall National Memorial.

Foussard is a partner at the TriBeCa office of Brown Harris Stevens, a full-service real estate firm. He and partner, Craig Filipacchi, administer a real estate portfolio valued at over $300 million that includes several of their own investment properties.

A native of Casablanca, Calif., Foussard earned his finance and marketing business degree from the University of California-Berkeley.

Downtown by Philippe Starck, which was completed in 2007, features 326 units in 42 levels. The building, first built in 1914, formerly housed the headquarters of JP Morgan.

Home sales in Wall Street/Lower Manhattan are down 80 percent in 2008 versus sales in 2007. The median sales price, however, is up from $878,000 in 2007 to $960,000 so far this year.
