Ben M. Germana and his wife, Barbara, bought a condo at 220 Riverside Blvd. in Lincoln Square from Donald and Linda MacKinnon for $3.155 million on July 30.

Unit #35D is in the Trump Place, a condominium building located in the redevelopment project at the former rail yards at the south end of Riverside Park.

Mr. Germana is a partner in the litigation group of the law firm Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in New York City.

He's been a partner since 1999, and first joined the firm in 1992. He received his B.S. in from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy (1989) and his J.D. from Columbia Law School ('91).

Trump Place, which was completed in 2003, has 440 units on 48 floors.

Condo sales in Lincoln Square were up 10 percent in 2007 versus sales in 2006. The median sales price was also up from $819,000 to $951,000 during the same period.
