Pickled vegetables owner sells Lincoln Square condo

Melanie Koroghlian bought condo Unit #7G at 155 W. 70th St. in Lincoln Square for $700,000 from Sujata Chaudhry on July 3.

Koroghlian is an owner of Salt & Vinegar, Inc., a specialty food company in New York City that specializes in the Mediterranean recipe of pickled vegetables.

She co-founded the company in 2004 together with her brother, David Koroghlian.

The 21-story Coronado building was built in 1990, and houses 124 apartments.

Condo sales in Lincoln Square rose 14 percent in 2007 versus sales in 2006. The median sales price also went up from $1.2 million to $1.5 million.

Sales in The Coronado rose 28.6 percent in 2007. The median sales price increased more than 100 percent from $760,000 to $1.85 million last year.
