Home prices took a rose throughout Union Park between 2013 and 2015, a BlockShopper analysis showed.

The median sale price in the area was $71,382 in 2013, but climbed to $96,791 in 2015 -- a difference of 26 percent. At the same time, the median Effective Tax Rate (ETR) rose from 1.62 percent in 2013 to 1.83 percent in 2015.
