Kurt Erman and his wife, Linda, bought a home at 7438 Mahogany Bend Place in West Boca for $1.5 million from Arthur Hoffer and his wife, Eleanor, on June 11.

The Hoffers paid $1.6 million for the property in Aug. 2006. The 3,974 square foot house was built in 1985.

Mr. Erman is the founder and a former president of Notations, an apparel vendor serving U.S. garment retailers founded in 1979 and located in Huntingdon Valley, Pa.

He graduated from Penn State University.

The Ermans previously sold their four-bedroom home at 19620 Planters Point Dr. in Boca Raton for $700,000 on Dec. 27.

Home sales in Boca Raton have dropped 24.3 percent thus far in 2008. The median sale price has also dropped $50,000, from $420,000 in 2007 to $370,000 so far this year.
