Retired tennis pro lists 4BD for $1.195M

Medium 5bfa16c452b382293248e2a2c9d98cdd Corina and Mircea Morariu have listed for sale a four-bedroom, four-bath home at 4530 Pine Tree Dr. in West Boynton for $1.195 million.

The Morarius paid $625,000 for the property in Sept. 2005. The 4,002-square-foot house, which was built in 1982, is in the Pine Tree Golf Club neighborhood.

Ms. Morariu is a retired professional tennis player known most for her doubles success. She is the former number one ranked female doubles player, having won the 1999 Wimbledon women's doubles title with Lindsay Davenport and the 2001 Australian Open mixed doubles title with Ellis Ferreira.

Diagnosed with leukemia in 2001, she recovered and returned to active competition. She received the 2003 WTA Tour Comeback Player of the Year Award.

She retired following a loss in the 2007 US Open doubles quarterfinals.

There were 979 home sales in West Boynton in 2008, with a median sales price of $235,000.
