Consultant spends $1.13M for Wildwood home

Kari A. Creighton and her husband, Benjamin, bought a four-bedroom, 3.5 bath at 807 Babler Park Dr. in Wildwood for $1.13 million from Larry Mintz and his wife, Therese, on May 6.

The Mintzes paid $325,000 for the property in June 2005. The home was built in 2006.

Catherine Shaw-Connely of Tom Shaw Realtors was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $1.475 million when it appeared on the market in August.

Mrs. Creighton is a senior vice president, shareholder and consultant at Summit Strategies Group, a St. Louis company that provides consulting services and offers a full range of services to plan sponsor communities. She's also worked as a performance analyst for the company.

The Washington University graduate previously worked at the Boatmen's Trust Company.

Home sales in Wildwood have risen 28.4 percent thus far in 2008. The median sale price, however, has dropped $25,000, from $355,000 in 2007 to $330,000 so far this year.
