The Wolfners paid $730,000 for the home in Feb. 2007.

Mrs. Wolfner, who is an agent with Janet McAfee real estate, was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $775,000.

Mr. Wolfner is an owner at W. Properties LLC, a real estate development company in St. Louis. He graduated from Saint Louis University.

Home sales in Ladue have risen 2.6 percent thus far in 2008. The median sale price has also risen from $714,000 in 2007 to $725,000 so far this year.
