Actor Hume Cronyn lived in this building in 1967. Known to audiences in the recent past for his roles in "Cocoon" (1985) and its 1988 sequel, he began his acting career in the 1930s. Cronyn was married to Academy Award winning actress Jessica Tandy. He made his film debut in director Alfred Hitchcock's "Shadow of a Doubt" (1943). Cronyn passed away in 2003.
