Actress Patricia Collinge lived in this building in 1967. She had a prominent stage career from the early 1900s to the 1950s and in 1941 was nominated for an Academy Award for her performance in "The Little Foxes." She also starred in director Alfred Hitchcock's "Shadow of a Doubt" (1943) as well as appearing in several episodes of Hitchcock's television program during the 1950s and 1960s. Collinge passed away in 1974.
