Director of the ACLU and Kennedy/Nixon debate moderator lived in this building

Journalist, Quincy Howe, lived in this building in 1967. He may best be remembered for his CBS radio broadcasts during World War II. Howe was director of the American Civil Liberties Union before World War II. He also moderated the final Kennedy/Nixon presidential debate in 1960. It was the first televised presidential debate. Howe passed away in 1977.
