The Charles R. Bussell Residence

Real estate developer George List built this Thomas G. Bird-designed Victorian home in 1892. Seattle businessman Charles Bussell and his wife, E.V. "Nina" Bussell, purchased the house in 1900. Bussell owned the Seattle Soap Co. and purchased a large tracts of tideflats that were sold to railroads in 1906 for $1.5 million.
