Midori Yokoyama bought a 2.5-bath home at 474 Drexel Ave. in Glencoe from Prudential Relocation Inc. for $610,000 on Sept. 4.

The 2,062-square-foot house, which was built in 1914, is in the West Glencoe neighborhood.

Yokoyama has been a partner with SG Asset Management Alternative Investments, a financial services company based in France. Prior to this, she worked in technical assessment with TAP Pharmaceutical Products in Chicago and with the biotechnology company, Allelix Biopharmaceuticals.

She earned her M.B.A. from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management and her Ph.D. in neurobiology from Cornell University Medical College.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 108 sales in Glencoe in 2008, with a median price of $830,000.
