David and Kristen Hurter sold a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 901 N. Hemlock Lane in Mount Prospect to Nicole Johnson and Jonathan Strickler for $361,000 on Sept. 10.

The Hurters paid $370,000 for the property in April 2005. The 1,535-square-foot house in the Brickman Manor subdivision was built in 1967.

Mr. Hurter is a senior manager of finance at WellCare/Harmony Health Plan, a provider of government health plans. Earlier, he was a product analyst and actuarial assistant at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois.

He received his B.A and B.S. in actuarial science and finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1995 and his M.B.A. from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management in 2004.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 604 home sales in Mount Prospect in 2008, with a median sales price of $321,500.
