Basanth Jagannathan and Nitya Narasimhan sold a two-bath, 2,408-square-foot home at 1012 Old Mill Grove Road in Lake Zurich to Ann S. Lou Tollefson for $310,000 on Sept. 9.

Jagannathan and Narasimhan acquired the property in Aug. 2005 for $375,500.

The home was built in 1976 in the Lake Zurich Southeast neighborhood.

Jagannathan is a senior engineer at IBM Semiconductor Research & Development Center.

He attended the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur, India and the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Narasimhan is a member of the technical staff at the Schaumburg-based telecommunications company Motorola.

She joined Motorola as a senior staff engineer. Prior to working at Motorola, he worked as a software engineer at Infosys Technologies. She also interned at Lawrence Berkeley National Labs.

She attended University of California, Santa Barbara and the B.M.S. College of Engineering in Bangalore, India.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 183 sales in Lake Zurich in 2008, with a median price of $285,000.
