Medium 2670045998a30e2ffe783907e9e97471 Pere A. Berkowitz and his wife, Yael, sold a two-bedroom, three-bath condo at 1737 N. Paulina St. in Bucktown to James Deno for $385,000 on Sept. 22.

Berkowitz and Mirelman paid $360,000 for the property in Feb. 2005. Unit #B-2 is one of 27 units at the Paulina Place Lofts.

Mr. Berkowitz is a senior marketing manager at Baxter International Inc., a healthcare company. Prior to Baxter, he served as account executive at Travelers.

He graduated from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management and the University of Massachusetts.

Mrs. Berkowitz is a physical therapist at the Chicago Institute of Neurosurgery and Neuroresearch. She previously worked at the Rush University Medical Center.

She earned her master of physical therapy from the Hahnemann University Medical College of Pennsylvania in 2000 and her bachelor's degree from Washington University in 1996. She also attended the London School of Economics and Political Science.
