Pranat and Naila Pathak bought a three-bedroom, three-bath townhome at 2700 N. Southport Ave. in Lincoln Park from Dr. Steven Mandrea and Marisa Mandrea for $635,000 on Sept. 8.

The Mandreas acquired the property for $645,000 in May 2006. Unit #2737B is part of the Park Lane Townhomes, was built in 1991 in the West DePaul subdivision.

Pranat Pathak is the business manager at Citadel Investment Group, a Chicago-based global financial institution that was founded in 1990. Before that, he served as software analyst at Mastek.

Dr. Mandrea is a dermatologist at About Skin & Laser in Park Ridge. He is also affiliated with Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.

He earned his M.D. and finished his residency in dermatology at the University of Illinois-Chicago College of Medicine.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 629 condo sales in Lincoln Park in 2008, with a median price of $360,000.
