Psychology professor unloads Evanston 3BD

Medium 31497902985e0cb350e706c89c180067 Suzette L. Speight sold a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 330 Darrow Ave. in Evanston to Stephen and Karen Jasobson for $350,000 on Sept. 8.

The 1,548-square-foot house, which was built in 1955, is in the South Evanston neighborhood.

Speight is an assistant professor of psychology at the University of Akron. Prior to this, she served as an assistant professor of counseling psychology, the director of the counseling psychology program and a community counseling psychologist at Loyola University of Chicago.

She earned her Ph.D. in counseling psychology from Ohio State University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 687 home sales in Evanston in 2008, with a median price of $300,000.
