Burton and Kathleen Klein sold a three-bedroom, 1.5-bath home at 716 Columbian Ave. in Oak Park to Patricia and Denis Underwood for $552,500 on Sept. 8.

The 1,594-square-foot house, which was built in 1913, is in the Northeast Oak Park neighborhood.

Mr. Klein serves as president of the PortionPac Chemical Corp., a Chicago-based manufacturer of cleaning products that was founded in 1964. Prior to this, he was the chief financial officer at Sheridan Investments.

He graduated from the University of Illinois.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 578 sales in Oak Park in 2008, with a median price of $313,500.
