HR advisory firm exec gets West Town 3BD

Medium 8c1de3bfe02f1eccd7ccec918e604968 Evan Scussel bought a three-bedroom, 1.5-bath condo at 1750 W. Ohio St. in West Town from Allison and Daniel Tarpey for $415,000 on Oct. 21.

The Tarpeys paid $387,000 for the property in April 2006. The 3,100-square-foot condo is one of three units in the development at 1750 W. Ohio St., which was built in 1920.

Scussel is a senior associate at Mercer, a provider of human resources and related financial advice, products and services. Prior to his current position, he was a senior investment product analyst at Prudential Financial. He also worked as an investment analytics analyst at CIGNA.

She graduated from the University of Rhode Island and is currently working on her M.B.A. in finance from the University of Connecticut School of Business.

Ms. Tarpey is a business travel sales manager at the Hard Rock Hotel in Chicago. She previously worked at Hyatt, where she served as a business travel sales manager and as a sales manager.

She attended Western Michigan University.

According to, there have been 277 home sales in West Town during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $309,000.
