Dr. Marwan A. Samad and Salwa Huessini sold a seven-bedroom, 9.5-bath home at 422 E. Sixth St. in Hinsdale to ATG Trust Co. for $1.4 million on Oct. 16.

Samad and Huessini paid $1.1 million for the property in Oct. 2001. The 7,870-square-foot house was built in 2009 in the South Hinsdale/Robbins Park neighborhood.

Dr. Samad practices pediatrics at Memorial Health Systems.

He received his M.D. from the University of Damascus. He served his residencies at St Luke's in Roosevelt, the University Hospital of Cleveland and the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 232 sales in Hinsdale during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $705,000.
