Mr. Anelli bought the property for $350,000 in Aug. 2005. The 3,433-square-foot house was built in 2007 in the Elmhurst South neighborhood.

Dr. Takhtehchian is a cardiologist with Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. He is also affiliated with Advocate Medical Group.

He earned his M.D. from the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in 1999. He completed his training at the Mayo Clinic and the Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 435 home sales in Elmhurst during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $335,000.
