The 1,912-square-foot home was built in 2007 in the Ida B. Wells/Darrow Homes subdivision.

Mr. Chakravorty is an assistant vice president for analytics at the Chicago office of ChoicePoint, a provider of content-enabled workflow solutions. He most recently served as the director of statistical modeling at Analytic Innovations and as a statistic modeler at Krumm & Associates.

He earned his B.A. from Hampshire College and his M.S. in biostatistics from the University of Illinois-Chicago.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 71 home sales in Oakland during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $132,500.
