Step Technical Institute owner Kevin Drew bought a three-bedroom, two bath condo at 2146 N. Racine for $689,000 on Aug. 10 from Standard Bank & Trust.

Developers BR Development and the Lowe Group paid $1.125 million for the land at 2146 N. Racine in Sept. 2005. Sussex & Reilly's Jeffrey Lowe sold Unit #3 after 162 days on the market for its list price.

Drew, 53, is the owner of Step Technical, a maker of technology courseware, training, and training aids in Skokie. The company also provides on-spot training in computer repair and maintenance.

There are four three-bedroom, two bath units at 2146 N. Racine, all built in 2006. Their average sale price was $662,000.
