Mesirow exec buys new on Roscoe

Mesirow Financial vice president Joshua Daitch and his wife, Lisa, bought a four-bedroom, three bath at 844 W. Roscoe for $773,000 from Terracotta Enterprises on Aug. 8.

Terracotta, developing the property into four units, paid $1.01 million for the land in May 2005. Unit #1 sold for its list price after 211 days on the market. Realtor Sussex & Reilly is marketing the building

Mr. Daitch, 34, is a senior vice president in the private equity division at Mesirow Financial, an investment firm headquartered in Chicago. He's also served on the board of directors for R.B. Gustafson, Inc., MBI, Inc. and DAC Vision.

Before Mesirow, Daitch worked for the real estate private equity subsidiary of Goldman Sachs. He has an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.B.A. from the University of Michigan.

Unit #1 is the most expensive unit at 844 W. Roscoe. The building was constructed this year.
