San Diego lawyers sell Chicago residence

Foley & Lardner partner G. Peter Albert Jr. and his wife, Rita, sold their four-bedroom, four bath at 3710 N. Greenview for $880,000 on Aug. 23 to Gioacchino and Leslie Prato.

The Alberts paid $690,000 for the single-family home in March 2003. The sale was on the market for 90 days and was originally listed for $916,000.

A University of Michigan (B.A.) and John Marshall School of Law graduate, Mr. Albert is a partner with Foley in San Diego, where he practices trademark and private equity law. He's also an adjunct professor of law at the University of San Diego School and the Handong University in Korea. Before getting into law, he was a communications design engineer for Reuters.

Mrs. Albert formerly practiced intellectual property law with Irvine, Calif.-based Lyon & Lyon LLP. She's also an adjunct professor of law at the University of San Diego, holding a law degree from Loyola University in Chicago and a B.A. from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.

The Alberts own a home at 308 Santa Helena in Solana Beach, Calif., which just north of San Diego.
