Dr. Ellis Nam bought a three-bedroom, three bath Lincoln Park condo at 2549 N. Southport for $855,000 on Aug. 21 from Drew Kornreich.

Kornreich paid $625,000 for Unit #4 in Aug. 2004. The sale was on the market for 104 with an original list price of $929,000.

Nam, a 36-year-old native of Evanston, is an orthopedic surgeon at Northwestern.

Kornreich, 40, was the founder and managing director of Mediant Technology Partners, Inc., a now defunct technology-focused "business accelerator" that handled clients such as Bachelor.com, Cigar.com, T-shirts.com, MileMoney, AccessUS.

Before starting Mediant he practiced law at technology-focused firm Sachnoff & Weaver, Ltd. and was a senior management consultant with Deloitte & Touche, LLP. He earned his J.D. from Loyola University.

Kornreich owns a condo in Old Town at 1515 N. Wells, Unit #8C.
