Venture capitalist sells condo on Sedgwick

Mark and Natalia Burgett sold a three-bedroom, 2.1 bath condo at 1929 N. Sedgwick for $1.25 million on Aug. 22 to Martin Masterson.

The Burgetts paid $840,000 for Unit #A in March 2003.

Since 2004 Burgett has been a principal at Wind Point Partners, a private equity investment firm in Chicago. He's also a director at Nonni's Food Company.

Burgett previously worked as a VP with Morgan Stanley's investment banking division in both New York and Chicago an as an analyst at Robert W. Baird & Co. He received his bachelor's degree from Northwestern University and has an M.B.A. from the Columbia Business School.

The building at 1929 N. Sedgwick has four condo units and was built in 1998.
