Michael Acklin and Karen M. Acklin bought a four-bedroom, three-bath home at 821 Mark Twain Trail in Batavia from John P. Kennedy and Susan A. Kennedy for $400,000 on June 7.

The 2,788-square-foot house was built in 1996 in Southeast Batavia.

Mr. Acklin is principal of Xeno Media, an Oakbrook Terrace-based web design and development firm that he co-founded in 1996.

He received a degree in industrial design from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 229 home sales in Batavia during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $250,000.
