He attended Florida Atlantic University and Wittenberg University.

Ms. Shumate has worked as spa director in the Cumming, Georgia location of Natural Body Spa and Shop.

She formerly worked with Chateau Elan Spa & Resort and Metamorphecise Spa & Health Club. She also served in various positions at Deloitte and Touche LLP and Fidelity Brokerage Services LLC.

She received a bachelor's degree in finance from The Ohio State University's Max M. Fisher College of Business.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 64 home sales in Downers Grove during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $577,500.
