Robins bought the property for $1.219 million in Aug. 2008. The 3,900-square-foot house was built in 2001. Scott Berg of Berg Properties is the listing agent.

Robins is the former president and chief operating officer of Connaught Real Estate Finance. He has worked with Wasserstein Perella and served as vice president of operations for the Illinois division of Pulte Homes.

He graduated from Cornell University in 1996 and received an M.B.A. from the Wharton School in 2002.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 1,117 sales in Lake View in 2008, with a median sales price of $330,000.
