Jaffee paid $4.45 million for the property in Sept. 2006.

The 7,066-square-foot house was built in 1918 in Lake Forest East. Marcia Rowley of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage is the listing agent.

Jaffee served as the chief executive officer for Focus Products Group LLC., a houseware company that markets kitchen, foodservice and bath products.

Prior to founding Focus Products in 2001, he was the president of store fixture and store products group at Leggett & Platt.

He received his B.A. from the University of Illinois.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 172 home sales in Lake Forest during the last 12 months, with a median sales price of $721,529.
