Tali M. Kulbeda and Michael K. Kulbeda bought a five-bedroom, four-bath home at 25516 Pastoral Drive in Plainfield from Robert and Stacy Kuchar for $425,000 on June 7.

The Kuchars bought the property for $450,000 in March 2008. The 3,781-square-foot house was built in 2006 in the Shenandoah subdivision.

Ms. Kulbeda is president of Signature Marketing Inc., a marketing and staffing agency in Chicago.

She previously was lead technician at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and a life science research technician at Corning Incorporated.

She received her B.S. in neurobiology from Cornell University in 2002 and her M.B.A. in marketing from North Central College in 2009.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 1,869 home sales in Plainfield during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $189,900.
