There were nine North Shore foreclosures for the week of Oct. 12-19, according to BlockShopper.com.

Skokie recorded the highest number of foreclosures for the week with four. Evanston saw three; Glenview and Lincolnwood both saw one.

Most notable among them was a three-bath home at 9121 Skokie Blvd. in West Skokie. The 3,024-square-foot home was built in 1957 and last sold for $393,000 in May 2002.

Among the Evanston foreclosures was a two-bedroom, one-bath condo at 329 Callan Ave, Unit 2 in South Evanston. The unit last sold for $160,000 in January 2008 and is currently offered for sale for $48,900.

Year-to-date, there have been 395 foreclosures in the North Shore: Skokie (111) Glenview (73) Evanston (62) Northbrook (59) Morton Grove (33) Lincolnwood (32) Wilmette (11) Glencoe (9) Northfield (2) Winnetka (3) Golf (0).
