Artist, lunch program manager settle in Oak Park

James Duignan and Celeste Duignan bought a four-bedroom, two-bath home at 534 N. Elmwood Ave. in Oak Park from Ramona C. Samuelson for $410,000 on Nov. 21.

The 2,100-square-foot home in Northeast Oak Park was built in 1906. It is located in the Frank Lloyd Wright Historic District subdivision.

According to his WordPress blog, James Duignan, an artist, is the founder of the Stockyard Institute, an artistic and pedagogical organization in Chicago. He also serves as a professor and the chair of the visual art education at DePaul University.

According to his public LinkedIn profile, he holds an M.F.A. from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

According to her public LinkedIn profile, Celeste Duignan has served as a lunch program manager at Oak Park Township.

She attended DePaul University.
