Medium 6a61b65ad260834e79b16f121bd7f572 Dennis J. Parad bought a five-bedroom, three-bath home at 2710 N. Central Park Ave. in Logan Square from Kato D Inc. for $426,000 on Nov. 25.

The 2,052-square-foot home was built in 1920.

According to his public LinkedIn profile, Dennis Parad is a patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He previously served as a law clerk and patent agent at Law Clerk/Patent Agent at Parad Law Offices P.C. Prior to that, he was a senior research associate at New York State Science and Technology Law Center. He has also worked at Cardinal Intellectual Property, Syracuse University's Office of Technology Transfer and Industrial Development and Greer, Burns & Crain Ltd.

He has bachelor's degrees in chemistry and business administration from Loyola University of Chicago. He also holds an M.S. in biochemistry and a J.D. from Syracuse University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 120 home sales in Logan Square during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $350,000.
