Orthodontist acquires Brooklyn home

Medium 14d81ebb3c643e9653830e7ccfe680d8 Dr. Menachem D. Roth and Etta Roth bought a 1,560-square-foot home at 1465 E. 12th St. in Brooklyn from James Stewart Boylan for $552,000 on Aug. 31.

The home was built in 1925 in the Midwood neighborhood.

Dr. Roth is an orthodontist at Arch Orthodontics in Randolph.

He has a B.A. in biology from Yeshiva University in New York City and a dental degree from The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He is a graduate of Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he received his master of medical science degree in oral biology and completed his orthodontic residency program.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 4,709 sales in Brooklyn in 2008, with median sales price of $448,000.
