Bryan Edward Kinkade and Kanchan B. Achar bought a 3,500-square-foot condo at 62 Bergen St. in Brooklyn from Stacie McCormick for $700,000 on Sept. 21.

McCormick paid $599,000 for Unit A in May 2006.

Kinkade is the advertising director at National Geographic Adventure magazine. He was appointed to the position on Jan. 26.

He formerly was director of travel and tourism for the magazine.

Achar is vice president of food and wine practice at Marina Maher Communications, a New York-based public relations and marketing communication firm.

Prior to joining Marina Maher Communications in Oct. 2007, she was an account director of wine division at The Thomas Collective. Before that, she was an account manager at Glodow Nead Communications. She also worked as an account supervisor in the home and lifestyle division of DeVries Public Relations.

She attended Union College.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 4,709 sales in Brooklyn in 2008, with a median sales price of $448,000.
