Meredith Genova bought a two-bedroom, one-bath condo at 1 Hanson Place in Brooklyn from Cjuf Hanson LLC II for $650,000 on Sept. 23.

Unit #9B is one of the 179 condos in the 34-story One Hanson Place condo development, located in the neighborhood of Fort Greene, which was built in 1927.

Genova is the marketing director at Metropolitan Equity Partners, a private equity firm in New York City, established in 1999.

She previously worked with Bernstein Global Wealth Management, Alliance Bernstein Investments, Alliance Bernstein Institutional Investment Management and Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. Inc.

She attended The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va.

According to Blockshopper.com there were 16 condo sales in Brooklyn in 2008, with a median sales price of $899,500.
