Investment banking exec buys Brooklyn condo

Medium 4ae10f2d65a88ee3fb43202076469032 Olivier Janin and Mona Chiang bought the 2.5-bedroom, two-bath condo at 501 Hicks St. in Brooklyn from Gordon Weiss for $890,000 on Sept. 25.

The 1,587-square-foot condo is part of the 501 Hicks St. development, which was built in 1922 and houses 34 units in the five-story building.

Janin is associate director at ANZ, an investment banking firm.

He previously was a marketing manager at Quinn Plastics Ltd.

He received his master's degree in finance and management from ESSEC Business School.

According to, there have been three condo sales in Brooklyn in the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $607,500.
