Advertising firm founders settle in East Williamsburg

Medium e4c009f56e93a4f826b8c712c555a43b Daniel Binns and Charlotte Rademaekers bought a home at 68 Skillman Ave. in East Williamsburg from Joseph Tenaglia and Emily Tenaglia for $1.3 million on Aug. 18.

The 3,232-square-foot house was built in 1899.

Binns serves as the co-founder and chairman of Call2Action, a marketing and advertising that helps Spark movements online. He is also the founding partner of the New York office of The Leading Edge, a global brand strategy and insights company. He previously served as an executive vice president at McCann Erickson. He also worked as senior director strategy at Interbrand, head of brand at Mercy and owner at Left Field Consultancy Ltd.

He attended Greenwich University.

Ms. Rademaekers serves as the co-founder and CEO of Call2Action.

She has worked in TV, making documentary for seven years with shows on "National Geographic." She previously worked for New Media.

She holds a bachelor's degree in film and comparative religious studies from Columbia University-New York and philosophy and anthropology from the University of California-Santa Cruz.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 19 home sales in East Williamsburg during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $651,000.
