Early intervention educator acquires Bay Ridge home

Medium 0e630203ae047e9ecadc9812a0d09775 Bonnie A. Keilty and Steven L. Eisman bought a home at 164 Senator St. in Bay Ridge from Lourdes Arena for $735,000 on Oct. 20.

The two-story 1,600-square-foot house was built in 1905.

Ms. Keilty has been teaching courses in early intervention or early childhood programs for several years. She was an assistant professor at UNC Charlotte, Columbia University's Teachers College, and at A.J. Pappanikou Center for Excellence in Disabilities in University of Connecticut. She also worked as research associate and adjunct professor at the George Washington University.

She graduated from the George Washington University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 257 home sales in Bay Ridge during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $530,000.
