Sculptor deals 2BD condo in Carroll Gardens

Medium d6aa5c0aa89113211bfeaa77300fc338 Launa Lee Beuhler sold a two-bedroom, two-bath condo at 142 Sackett St. in Carroll Gardens/Columbia Street to James V. O'Neill and Lauren McFarland for $650,000 on Nov. 19.

Unit #6 measures 850 square feet and is one of the six units in the six-story condo development at 142 Sackett St.

Beuhler is a sculptor and the owner of Launa Beuhler Studio Inc. in New York. Her work has been exhibited in venues in New York, San Francisco, Canada and Europe.

She previously was a consultant for the Art Commission of the City of New York, the executive director of The Robert Mapplethorpe Foundation, the director of travelling exhibitions at Aperture Foundation and at Umbrage Editions, and an archivist for The Estate of Inge Morath. She also has worked at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, Italy.

She received a B.F.A. in sculpture from the University of California-Davis and an M.F.A. in sculpture from Alfred University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 41 condo sales in Carroll Gardens/Columbia Street during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $520,000.
