The 1,568-square-foot house was built in 1945.

Mr. Akerman is a principal at Akerman Design Group, a boutique architecture firm in Brooklyn. Prior to that, he was a designer at Ajdesign, Y2 and at FRG Architects.

He attended New York Institute of Technology - Old Westbury.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 54 home sales in Ocean Parkway South during the last 12 months, with a median sales price of $540,600.
