Furniture designer buys in Park Slope

Medium 9efc741356d05c38bd108d5739938926 Liberty Howell and Joseph Orlowski bought a home at 326 10th St. in Park Slope from Henry Linhart and Linda Reardon for $997,000 on Nov. 1.

Linhart and Reardon paid $690,000 for the property in Feb. 2003. The 2,104-square-foot house was built in 1899.

Howell is the designer and owner of Glimmerglass Furniture in Bedford Hills. Previously, she was creative and marketing associate at Grange Furniture, Inc.

Linhart is a professor at Pratt Institute and School of Visual Arts, where he focuses in fine art film and media arts. He has served as an artist in residence at the Experimental Television Center in Owego.

He earned his master's degree in media studies from State University of New York at Buffalo.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 199 home sales in Park Slope during the last 12 months, with a median sales price of $649,500.
