Gullivar Shepard and Wendy Cronk bought a three-bedroom, two-bath condo Unit #4R at 505 Court St. in Carroll Gardens/Columbia Street/Red Hook from Court Lofts LLC for $730,000 on Aug. 18.

The 1,348-square-foot condo built in 1920 is in the Carroll Gardens/Columbia Street neighborhood.

Shepard is senior associate at Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates. His work is concerned in the firm's urban design and master planning.

He received his master's degree in architecture at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design in 1999 and his B.A. in architecture at Washington University in St. Louis in 1993. He also received the Araldo Cossutta Annual Prize of Design Excellence.

The condo is in Court Street Lofts< which includes 124 units on 10 floors.

According to Blockshopper.com, there were 10 condo sales in Carroll Gardens/Columbia Street/Red Hook in 2008, with a median sales price of $612,500.
